On the night of February 9, Russians attacked several areas in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Specifically, due to an accident, residents of three villages were left without gas.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, referencing the Facebook page of the Chervonohrihorivka village territorial community and the Telegram of the head of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Serhiy Lysak.

"Attention! Due to an emergency on the main gas pipeline caused by shelling, gas supplies to the villages of Kamenske, Prydniprovsk, and Musiivka have been shut off by the gas emergency service," - warned the village community.

Currently, emergency repair work is being conducted by the relevant service.

Shelling in the Nikopol District

Throughout the night, the enemy shelled the Nikopol district twice using artillery. Shells fell on the district center and the Chervonohrihorivka community.

"Three private homes were damaged, along with outbuildings, and one was destroyed. The gas pipeline was also affected. Fortunately, no one was injured," - noted Lysak.

Additionally, as a result of a Shahed drone attack, there was a loud explosion in the Synelnykove district. A fire broke out, which rescuers have already extinguished.

"Over Dnipropetrovsk, air defenders shot down two enemy drones," - added the head of the OVA.

Shelling of Nikopol and the region

Russian troops continuously shell Nikopol and the surrounding area. The occupiers are attacking populated areas from the temporarily occupied Enerhodar in the Zaporizhzhia region. In particular, the Chervonohrihorivka community is located in the Nikopol district.

Recall that at the end of January, Russian invaders shelled the city of Nikopol. An industrial facility was damaged, and five people were injured.
