The Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported on the frontline situation, highlighting the areas with the most intense fighting.

In the last 24 hours, there have been 145 combat encounters on the front. The highest number of clashes was recorded in the Kurakhove direction.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit one command post, two air defense systems, one artillery piece in a firing position, two field ammunition depots, three areas of troop and military equipment concentration, as well as four radar stations of the Russian invaders.

Situation on the fronts

Actively using aviation, the enemy attacked once near Volchanska in the Kharkiv direction.

In the Kupyansk direction, there were 21 attacks by the occupiers in the past day. The Defense Forces repelled assault actions by the enemy near Synkivka, Novoosynove, Kolesnykivka, Pervomaiske, Pyschane, Kruhlyakivka, Zelenyi Hai, Vyshneve, Bohuslavka, Petropavlivka, Lozova, Kondrashivka, and Zahryzove.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 11 times, attempting to advance towards Yekaterynivka, Hrekivka, Ternovy, Zarechne, Druzhliubivka, and in the Serebryanske forestry.

In the Seversk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two assault actions by Russian invaders near Verkhnokamenske and Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked once in the area of Chasiv Yar.

The situation remains tense in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 28 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor toward the settlements of Myroliubivka, Luch, Myrnohrad, Lisovka, Sukhy Yar, Novohrodivka, Vyshneve, Krutyi Yar, and Selydove.

In the Kurakhove direction, Defense Forces repelled 41 attacks on positions near Novoselidivka, Novodmytrivka, Iliynka, Maksymilianivka, Ostry, Yelizavetivka, Dalne, Antonivka, Kurakhove, Kremenna Balka, Voznesenka, and Yekaterynivka.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy carried out eight assaults on our positions in the areas of Bohoyavlenka, Maksymivka, Trudove, and Novoukrainka. They actively used assault and bomber aviation for strikes in this direction.

In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near the settlement of Charivne.

In the Dniprovsk direction, the operational situation remains unchanged. The enemy conducted four unsuccessful assaults.

In the Orikhiv and Toretsk directions, the enemy did not conduct assault actions but struck with assault and bomber aviation on settlements.

Along the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery and aviation from the territory of the Russian Federation against areas of Ukrainian settlements.

The operation in the Kursk region continues, with the Russians carrying out 19 strikes with 20 guided bombs and conducting 133 artillery shellings of the territory of the Russian Federation over the past day.

Enemy losses

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost about 695,000 soldiers. Over the past day, Ukrainian warriors eliminated more than 1,300 occupiers.

Additionally, Russia plans to involve North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine. According to the Financial Times, about 3,000 North Korean soldiers have been transferred to the Kursk region. They are located 50 km from the border with Ukraine.

According to a representative of Ukraine at the UN, North Korean military will enter the war against Ukraine in November.
