Kharkiv patrol officers found a fake ID with a driver.
This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Patrol Police, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the patrol officers, on October 28, around 1 AM, during their patrol in Banov Alley, they stopped a Ford vehicle.
For verification, the driver presented the officers with a counterfeit driver's license. The document lacked essential security features and the font was not printed in a standard manner.
In the databases, the ID belongs to another individual, and the driver himself has never held a driver's license. The driver admitted to purchasing the fake document for 5,000 UAH.
The use of a knowingly forged document entails criminal liability under Article 358 (Forgery of documents, seals, stamps, and forms, sale or use of counterfeit documents, seals, stamps) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the patrol officers reminded.
