По информации WSJ, Израиль ликвидировал все иранские системы С-300 в ходе атаки на военные объекты.

On October 26, during airstrikes on military facilities in Iran, Israeli aviation destroyed three Russian S-300 missile defense systems, which were a crucial component of Iran's air defense system.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing The Wall Street Journal.

During the attack, which involved around a hundred Israeli fighter jets, the S-300 managed to intercept only a few hundred missiles launched at targets in Iran. Of the four Russian systems that Iran received from Russia, three were destroyed in this operation, while the fourth had been lost earlier.

According to data from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), one of the S-300 systems was located near Tehran's airport, while the other two protected energy facilities, including an oil port, a refinery, and a gas field.

The loss of the S-300 leaves Iran's infrastructure vulnerable to missile strikes, as Russia cannot supply Iran with more advanced S-400 systems due to their deployment in the war in Ukraine.

The publication also notes that the reputation of the Russian defense industry has been damaged due to the destruction of the S-300 systems in Iran and several S-300 and S-400 systems in Ukraine. This may prompt traditional buyers of Russian weapons to seek alternative suppliers, particularly manufacturers from South Korea, Israel, the USA, and China.

Israel Strikes Iran

On October 26, Israel launched strikes on targets in Iran in response to a prior Iranian attack using ballistic missiles. Explosions were recorded in Tehran and other cities.

Israeli forces confirmed the attack, stating that they were specifically targeting Iranian military facilities. According to Israeli media, the first wave of strikes was aimed at facilities related to missile production and air defense systems.

On Sunday, it became known that Israel also destroyed two secret bases of Iran during the attack.
