In the near future, the checkpoint "Luzhanka" will commence operations on the border with Hungary. Additionally, next year, the construction of a new checkpoint "Bela Tserkva" will begin on the border with Romania. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and the Minister for Community and Territorial Development, Oleksiy Kuleba, as reported by the Ministry of Development, according to UNN.

According to Kuleba, they plan to open the "Luzhanka" checkpoint for the movement of empty trucks in the near future. This will relieve the only cargo checkpoint with Hungary, "Chop - Zahony." This year, they also plan to open a checkpoint for passenger transport - "Bolshaya Palad."
He also added that the next stage of work in Transcarpathia - is the reconstruction of the terminals at the "Uzhgorod" checkpoint to separate cargo and passenger transport, which will increase the capacity for trucks by 30%.
