On the evening of November 18, Russian military forces launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia using more than 10 "Shaheds." As a result of the attack, over 10,000 subscribers were left without electricity.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, as cited by RBK-Ukraine in his Telegram.
"The enemy once again carried out an attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia, with more than 10 'Shaheds.' Civil infrastructure was damaged. Currently, over 10,000 subscribers are without electricity. Boiler houses, a hospital. Thank you to the rescuers and police for already starting to mitigate the consequences," he stated.
Fedorov indicated that the immediate goal is to restore power to the boiler houses, heating supply, and also to the hospital as soon as possible. He clarified that more details would be provided in the morning.
"I also want to thank all the utility workers who have already begun addressing the aftermath of the enemy attack. Clear details will be given in the morning, and we will keep you informed," Fedorov summarized.
Recall that on November 16, the city of Zaporizhzhia and its surrounding area were subjected to an enemy attack by "Shaheds." At that time, Ivan Fedorov reported that there were no injuries, but the Russians damaged an infrastructure facility.
