Ukraine will respond to instances of corruption within the medical and social expertise centers. In particular, personnel changes are anticipated.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, referencing the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to him, preparatory meetings were held today ahead of the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
"Many new details. Unfortunately, there are hundreds of episodes of violations at various levels due to dishonest practices at the MSEC. There will be systemic, personnel, and procedural responses," Zelensky added.
It should be noted that recently, the head of the Khmelnytsky Regional Medical and Social Expertise Center, Tatyana Krupa, was caught in a corruption scheme. She was "selling" disability status to men so they could leave Ukraine.
During searches, millions of dollars in cash were found with her and her relatives.
Following this, prosecutors from the Khmelnytsky Regional Prosecutor's Office were suspected of illegally obtaining disability status by leveraging their connections with the MSEC.
In this context, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky promised to address this issue at the NSDC meeting.
