Meteorologists attribute changes in temperature and precipitation to shifts in wind direction. On February 5, a significant snowfall is expected in the western, northern, and central regions, while the eastern and southern areas will experience light precipitation. Temperatures in the west may drop to -8 °C, in the northern, central, and eastern regions to -4 °C, and in the south to around -2 °C.

On February 6, snowfall will continue in several regions, but it is anticipated to bypass central Ukraine. The lowest temperatures will be recorded in the mountainous areas of the west, reaching -12 °C. In the north, temperatures will hover around -3 °C, in the east and center about -3 °C, and in the south around -2 °C.
During these two days, wind speeds of 10–15 m/s may lead to snowstorms. However, starting from February 7, the severe weather is expected to ease, and milder temperatures will return across the country.
