A mural depicting the Soviet composer of Ukrainian-Jewish descent, Isaac Dunayevsky, has been painted over on the wall of a residential building located at 36 Moskalevskaya Street in Kharkiv.
This information was reported on the Telegram channel "Kharkiv 1654," as conveyed by "Dumka."
In a photo shared on the channel, it is visible that the mural featuring the Soviet composer has been nearly entirely covered with gray paint.
The mural on the building at 36 Moskalevskaya Street in Kharkiv, which depicts the Soviet composer, was created back in 2019.
Dunayevsky is the composer of the song "Dorogaya Moya Stolitsa" ("My Moscow"). The song became the anthem of Moscow on July 14, 1995.
As a reminder, a memorial plaque for composer Isaac Dunayevsky was removed in Kharkiv.
