In the city of Lyudinovo, Kaluga Oblast (Russia), an explosion occurred this morning, November 16, as a result of an airstrike. This locality houses the "Kaluganefteprodukt" oil depot, which has previously been subjected to drone attacks.

This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the governor of Kaluga Oblast, Vladislav Shapsha.

The Russian official stated that the explosion took place on the outskirts of Lyudinovo. He also claimed that "there is no significant damage to infrastructure," and there are no casualties.

According to the governor of Kaluga, the explosion allegedly caused "damaged window panes in several residential buildings" and affected a few vehicles.

"An operational group is working at the site," added the representative of the regional authorities.

The Russian official did not specify any potential target for the airstrike involving drones, nor did he mention the local oil depot in Lyudinovo in his statement.

It is worth noting that this facility has already been attacked by drones at least twice this spring.
