A fire broke out in Kyiv on the morning of November 2 after explosions and air defense operations. Debris fell in the area.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing KGVA and Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko on Telegram.
"Emergency services were called to the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital. Preliminary reports indicate that the fire was caused by debris from a UAV," the city leader stated.
The Kyiv City Military Administration noted that a fire occurred in a multi-story non-residential building.
The mayor specified that in the Shevchenkivskyi district, drone debris struck an office building, resulting in a fire on one of the floors.
The Russians launched drones at Kyiv in waves. Explosions were heard in Kyiv early in the morning and air defense systems were active. As of the morning, combat operations are ongoing.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, debris from drones fell in six districts of the capital - Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Dniprovskiy.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a fire broke out in a high-rise building due to falling debris. Local authorities reported two injuries.
