Air defense systems were activated in Kyiv due to a drone attack (updated).

This morning, November 5, work began for air defense forces and assets in Kyiv. Ukrainian military personnel are operating against enemy drones.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the capital's mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.

According to the Kyiv mayor, combat operations to repel the air attack are taking place in the Obolon district of the city.

He announced the air defense activities in Kyiv around 6:30 AM.

"Air defense forces are active in Obolon," the mayor stated in a message on his Telegram channel.

Additionally, residents of the capital are urged to remain in shelters until the all-clear signal is given.

Around 7:15 AM, it was reported that the threat in Kyiv had been lifted due to a potential enemy air attack.
