According to the Kyiv mayor, combat operations to repel the air attack are taking place in the Obolon district of the city.
He announced the air defense activities in Kyiv around 6:30 AM.
"Air defense forces are active in Obolon," the mayor stated in a message on his Telegram channel.
Additionally, residents of the capital are urged to remain in shelters until the all-clear signal is given.
Around 7:15 AM, it was reported that the threat in Kyiv had been lifted due to a potential enemy air attack.
It is worth noting that earlier, around 6 AM, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv due to the threat of enemy drones. Furthermore, an air attack warning had been issued in the capital late the previous evening.
Additionally, it was reported then that air defense operations were underway in Kyiv, specifically in the Holosiivskyi district.
Moreover, the combat operations of the sky defenders continue in the Kyiv region, where enemy strike drones of the "Shahed" type have been observed.
