On the night of November 28, sounds of explosions were heard in the Kyiv region. Air defense forces are intercepting enemy drones.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Telegram from the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
"Kyiv region! UAVs have been detected in the airspace. Air defense forces are working on the targets," the message stated at 00:19.
Additionally, the KOVA urged Ukrainians to ensure their own safety and remain in shelters until the air alert is over.
"Maintain information silence - do not record or post online the actions of our defenders," KOVA added.
As of 00:26, the air alert continues in the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Furthermore, the Luhansk region and occupied Crimea have been marked in dark red for many months.
Recall that explosions were also heard last night in the Kyiv region. Air defense forces intercepted Russian drones heading towards the capital.
In the morning, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (KOVA), Ruslan Kravchenko, reported that the air defense had neutralized all targets. There were no casualties or impacts on critical or residential infrastructure.
However, as a result of debris from a UAV falling in one of the settlements, the blast wave damaged the windows of apartments and more.
