Advisor to the Head of the President's Office and Operations Director of Bring Kids.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press service of the President's Office.
"We share a common goal – to enhance the efficiency of work on the search, return, and reintegration of children. It is also crucial to document cases of deportation and forced relocation to bring justice closer. Therefore, we are actively engaging the public of Ukraine in Bring Kids Back UA. The experience of national organizations is unique. We are also collaborating with organizations abroad, with particular attention to Global South countries," emphasized Daria Zarovna.
She also noted that Qatar and the Vatican are acting as mediators in the negotiation process for the return of children.
Additionally, Croatia, Estonia, Argentina, Canada, and Ukraine will cooperate to seek detailed information about the deported and displaced Ukrainians in Russia and in the territories it occupies.
"It is important for us to have a single database on deported children, their relocation stories, and their numbers. Russia does not provide information, so we must unite our efforts to pressure them. We understand that human rights defenders also have information, and children and their families can reach out to organizations directly, so we need to continuously exchange data and coordinate efforts to search for and return children," said Irina Vereshchuk.
Daria Gerasimchuk noted that work is underway to promote the "Stolen Voices" information campaign abroad and to engage countries in the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children.
She also urged public organizations to participate in disseminating stories of children and information on ways to rescue them.
Representatives of the public sector shared feedback during the meeting regarding their interaction with the President of Ukraine's initiative Bring Kids Back UA and provided suggestions for conducting joint information campaigns, as well as actively involving experts in implementing projects aimed at reintegration and restoring justice for children.
