The results of the exit polls for the presidential elections in Romania have been announced. Preliminary results indicate that Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu and liberal candidate Elena Lasconi will advance to the second round.
This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Europa Liberă România.
It is important to note that these figures do not yet account for votes from abroad; however, it seems unlikely that the right-wing candidate George Simion, who is hesitant about supporting Ukraine, will make it to the second round.
It was noted that immediately after the polling stations closed, the results of the first round exit polls for the presidential elections were published. They were announced live on Digi 24, covering two exit polls.
