The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled over 20 enemy assaults in the Kursk region, according to the General Staff.

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 157 combat encounters reported on the front lines. The Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions are experiencing the highest number of clashes, while in the Kursk region, Ukrainian forces have successfully repelled over twenty enemy attacks.

Since the beginning of the day, there have already been 157 combat clashes at the front. The highest number of battles is recorded in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, while in the Kursk region, Ukrainian soldiers have repelled more than twenty enemy attacks.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The military command provided an update on the operational situation as of 10:00 PM on November 15.

Russian Shelling

Since the start of the day, Russian occupiers have conducted 1 missile strike (firing 1 missile) and 42 air strikes (using 69 guided aerial bombs) on Ukrainian territory.

In addition, the invaders deployed 689 kamikaze drones in their attacks and carried out over 3,800 shellings targeting the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and populated areas.

Frontline Situation

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Volchansk and Vysoka Yaruga. 7 enemy attacks have been repelled, while another 2 are ongoing.

"The enemy's losses in this area currently amount to 68 servicemen killed and wounded, with two vehicles, 13 UAVs, and 1 unit of special equipment destroyed; additionally, two vehicles and two units of special equipment have been damaged," the General Staff reported.

In the Kupiansk direction, the occupiers advanced near Kolesnykovka, Kopanky, and Nadezhda. 14 battles have been completed, with one more still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 16 assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Novoihorivka, Makeevka, Ternovy and Torsky. All enemy attacks were halted by Ukrainian defenders.

In the Seversk direction, the occupiers launched one assault on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces near Verkhnokamensky.

In the Toretsky direction, the enemy, supported by bomber aircraft, carried out 9 storming actions. The occupiers attacked near Toretsk, Diliivka, and Shcherbinovka. 8 enemy assaults have been repelled, and one battle is still ongoing in the vicinity of Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked 35 times in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Luch, Lisovka, Petrovske, and Pustynka. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled 34 attacks, with one battle still ongoing.

"According to available data at the moment, the enemy's losses today amount to 373 servicemen killed and wounded; 12 armored combat vehicles, two tanks, nine cars, two artillery systems, an anti-tank missile system, and electronic warfare equipment have been destroyed by Ukrainian defenders; our troops also damaged an enemy vehicle," the General Staff reported.

In the Kurakhove direction, Russian occupiers conducted 34 attacks near Berestkiv, Novoselidivka, Voznesenka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Dalniy, and Antonivka. 14 attacks by the invaders have been repelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with fighting still ongoing.

In the Vremivka direction, battles were fought near Trudovoe, Rovnopol, and Novodarivka. The Defense Forces noted that the situation is under control.

In the Dniprovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders thwarted 5 attempts by the occupiers to attack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 21 enemy attacks, with 3 battles still ongoing.

The military command added that the situation in other directions remains largely unchanged.

Recall that earlier today it was reported that the SSO of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a special operation in the Kursk region rescued 16 servicemen from three different units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Additionally, on November 15, the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalенко, stated that Russian troops have resumed offensive actions in the Kursk region. He added that the Russian army is employing equipment.
