This shift means that consumers who used more gas during this period will incur higher delivery charges, while those who managed to reduce their consumption may see a decrease.
Further changes will take effect on May 1, 2025, particularly affecting those who consumed more gas compared to the previous "gas year" (October 2022 - September 2023).
This adjustment is based on consumption patterns rather than any increase in the gas tariff itself, which remains stable.
Currently, due to the state of martial law, the base tariff for gas and delivery has not changed and will remain the same next year. Initially, the tariff structure was divided to distinguish between network servicing and gas supply, allowing consumers to choose their gas supplier.
However, with the onset of full-scale war, "Naftogaz" now controls 98% of the household gas supply market, meaning that most Ukrainians are currently purchasing blue fuel at state-regulated prices through the national supplier.
