In Kharkiv, as a result of a Russian airstrike last night, October 28, seven people were injured, including a child.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
Emergency responders stated that rescue operations are ongoing at the site of the enemy strike.
"Kharkiv. Last night, the enemy attacked the city, and there are casualties. Preliminary reports indicate that 7 people were injured, including one child," the SES statement reads.
It was noted that as a result of the airstrike by Russian military forces, apartments on the top floor of a nine-story building in Kharkiv were partially destroyed. Additionally, windows in the building were shattered.
"Psychologists from the SES were on-site, providing necessary assistance to those affected," the SES reported.
The emergency services also added that more than 25 rescuers and 6 units of SES equipment are involved in eliminating the consequences of the enemy shelling.

He reported that the ceilings between the 8th and 9th floors of the high-rise building were damaged, and three apartments were destroyed.
Recall that around two-thirty in the morning, explosions were heard in Kharkiv as a result of a Russian airstrike.
Initially, the city hall reported a strike in the Kholodnohirskiy district on a 9-story residential building, resulting in a fire and partial destruction. However, later the OVA clarified that the "hit" occurred near a residential building, and the fire was also located close to the structure.

It was also reported that last night, on October 27, explosions occurred in Kharkiv during an enemy strike with KABs. The city hall then informed that Russian occupiers attacked a residential building in Kharkiv.
By nighttime, it became known that the number of injured in Kharkiv due to the shelling on October 27 had risen to 6 people, and the "hits" occurred in two districts of the city.
