In Kharkiv, a student stole a gun directly from a display case, according to police reports.

A student was detained in Kharkiv for robbing a store in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

This was reported by the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka."

According to the police, the young man entered the store and distracted the sales clerk by asking to see a device for firing rubber bullet cartridges.

As soon as the clerk's attention wavered, the student grabbed the pistol and fled the store.

The perpetrator was apprehended the same day. The 19-year-old student from Kharkiv University was informed of the suspicion under part 4 of Article 186 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
