A 73-year-old man was injured in a fire at a private home in the Kharkiv region.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the State Emergency Service, a man was injured as a result of a domestic fire. The incident occurred yesterday, November 29, at 23:26 in a private residential house in the village of Levkovka, Chuhuiv district.
In the house, household belongings in one of the rooms were ablaze, covering an area of 25 sq.m.
As a result of the fire, the 73-year-old man suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning. He was hospitalized in the regional hospital.
The fire was localized at 00:05 and extinguished by 1:07.
"The cause of the fire is related to the action of a source of ignition," the State Emergency Service reported.
