British Prime Minister Kier Starmer noted that “the fall of Assad's brutal regime should be welcomed,” but urged caution regarding “what comes next.”
He also emphasized that the safety of the Syrian people should be a priority, “while simultaneously supporting a political transition that leads to a reliable, inclusive, and non-sectarian governance on behalf of all Syrians.”
