This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Telegram from the head of the Rivne Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Koval.

"The alarm in the Rivne region lasted almost 8 hours. This is the longest since the start of the full-scale invasion," he stated.

According to the head of the administration, the region was subjected to a massive aerial attack from the enemy.

"As a result of the actions of the air defense forces, 6 enemy targets were shot down. Preliminary information indicates that there were no casualties or damage to infrastructure," Koval confirmed.

Currently, relevant services are working at the site of the downed drones.

Russian Shelling of Ukraine

On the night of February 9, Russian troops launched 151 drones at Ukraine. Air defense systems were active in 14 regions of Ukraine. The air defense successfully shot down 70 drones, while another 74 imitation drones were lost due to location issues.

During the night, explosions were heard in Odesa, in the Lutsk area, and in Kyiv Oblast. In particular, air defense systems were operating near Kyiv. However, there were incidents of damage caused by debris from UAVs in the capital region. The alarm in Kyiv Oblast lasted over 11 hours.
