The state can acquire a highly efficient business asset worth 1.2 billion hryvnias in its accounts, according to Tkachuk.

A crucial stage is approaching for IDS Ukraine and the "Morshynska" brand. According to a decision by the High Anti-Corruption Court (VAKS), the state may acquire a highly efficient business asset of significant investment value, with account balances amounting to 1.2 billion hryvnias and tax revenues of approximately one billion.
По словам Ткачука, государство может обрести высокоэффективный бизнес-актив с 1,2 млрд гривен на счетах.

For IDS Ukraine and the "Morshynska" brand, a critical stage is approaching. The state, following a decision by the VAKS, may acquire a highly efficient business asset of significant investment value, with balances of 1.2 billion hryvnias in accounts and tax revenues of around one billion.

This was stated by CEO of IDS Ukraine, Marko Tkachuk, in an interview with RBK-Ukraine.

"Our primary goal is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the company. Issues of nationalization and the lawsuit against VAKS fall within the competence of the shareholders and do not affect our operational activities. Just like in the previous 28 months since the arrest of corporate rights of the group companies, the local management team is focused on preserving the workforce of three thousand people and maintaining stable operations in Morshyn and Mirgorod," Tkachuk emphasized.

According to him, effective operational management allows the company to remain the largest taxpayer in its industry — based on our estimates, various levels of budgets will receive around one billion hryvnias in taxes from the IDS Ukraine group companies due to the return to pre-war revenue volumes.

He also highlighted that the company is facing additional challenges. Among them are the lack of access to external credit or investment financing, ongoing resistance against competitor encroachments on business preservation, overcoming a toxic information background, etc.

"The growth of net asset value from 2 billion UAH to 3 billion UAH is the best testament to the business efficiency of the company, even despite the restrictions imposed by arrests and the lack of access to external financing," the CEO of IDS Ukraine pointed out.

According to Tkachuk, the transfer of management of two key enterprises of the group essentially represents the dismemberment of IDS Ukraine's business and the artificial separation from it of the company's largest production facility in Morshyn. The JSC "Industrial and Distribution Systems" is the main management company of the group. Such an action would destroy the entire structure and almost instantly trigger irreversible destructive processes in the other companies of the group, which would find themselves outside its perimeter — without financial, service, raw material, logistical distribution, and other support.

IDS Ukraine is the largest taxpayer in its industry and one of the largest among economic entities in the FMCG market. It can generate over a billion in taxes for the state. The factories in Mirgorod and Morshyn are key employers in the communities and critically important donors to local budgets.

"Our goal is to minimize risks and protect the asset so that the company remains in its best condition until the VAKS decision. The management team of IDS Ukraine, which has developed the company through four different shareholder compositions, can continue to work in the company. But if a future shareholder wants a different management team" - that is their right," Tkachuk added.
