The Pension Fund of Ukraine has completed the financing of pensions for December 2024. A total of 63.3 billion hryvnias has been allocated for pension payments.
This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the press service of PFU.
This amount is lower than in November, when 63.6 billion hryvnias were allocated for payments.
It is also less than in October when the PFU paid a record amount in the fund's history - 64.0 billion hryvnias.

As a reminder, in November 2024, the total number of pensioners in Ukraine was 10.353 million people, which is an increase of 10,500 compared to the previous month.
According to PFU data, the highest number of pensioners was in Dnipropetrovsk region with 876,000 people. Additionally, there are 745,600 pensioners in Kyiv, 707,400 in Kharkiv region, 617,400 in Donetsk region, and 669,300 in Lviv region.
A total of 8.362 million people receive their pensions through current accounts in banks. The remaining 1.991 million pensioners receive their payments via "Ukrposhta".
As a reminder, the expenditures of the Pension Fund of Ukraine for pension payments in 2023 amounted to 672.0 billion hryvnias. This is an increase of 17.1% (or 97.8 billion hryvnias) compared to 2022.
