President-elect Donald Trump, in his Christmas message, highlighted the benefits of incorporating Canada into the United States, particularly the significant tax reductions that would result.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing a post from Trump on his social media platform, Truth Social.
It is worth noting that in his congratulatory message, the new U.S. leader addressed several topics.
Specifically, Trump wished everyone a Merry Christmas, including the "wonderful soldiers of China," who, according to the Republican, are illegally and affectionately exploiting the Panama Canal. Trump noted that the U.S. lost 38,000 lives during the construction of this canal 110 years ago.
"(The Chinese are illegally exploiting the Panama Canal - ed.), constantly ensuring that the United States invests billions of dollars in 'repairs,' while saying absolutely nothing 'about anything,'" Trump writes.
At the same time, he mentioned Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, referring to him as a governor and clarifying under what conditions the country would see tax reductions.
"But if Canada becomes our 51st state, their taxes will be cut by more than 60%, their business will immediately double, and they will be militarily protected like no other country in the world," stated Donald Trump.
He also emphasized the significance of the people of Greenland, whom the United States needs for national security purposes.
"Who want the U.S. to be there, and we will be," the new head of state concluded.
Recall that recently, Donald Trump spoke about purchasing Greenland, repeatedly suggested that Canada become the 51st state of the U.S., and threatened to bring the Panama Corridor back under American control.
