Трамп сообщил, что не планирует "бомбить" Иран.

U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his desire to negotiate a non-nuclear weapons agreement with Iran. He prefers to resolve this diplomatically rather than through potential military action and bombings of the country.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing Trump's interview with the American publication The New York Post.

During a flight aboard Air Force One, the American president told reporters that he "would like to see an agreement with Iran regarding non-nuclear products."

"I would prefer that to bombing them to hell.... They don’t want to die. Nobody wants to die. If we reached an agreement, Israel wouldn’t bomb them," Trump stated.

At the same time, the U.S. president did not disclose any details regarding potential negotiations with Iran.

"I could say what I need to say to them, and I hope they decide not to do what they are currently thinking of doing. And I believe they will be very happy," Trump remarked, adding that he "would tell them that an agreement would be reached."

He also did not specify what he intends to offer Iran in return but emphasized that he does not plan to conduct airstrikes on Iranian territory.

"I will not bomb them," the American president declared.

Earlier this week, President Donald Trump stated that he wants to sign a new nuclear agreement with Iran. He also mentioned that reports suggesting "the States, working together with Israel, are planning to obliterate Iran" are greatly exaggerated.

It is worth recalling that such a "nuclear" deal was signed between the U.S. and Iran in 2015, but during his first presidential term, Trump withdrew the U.S. from the agreement in 2018.

On February 4, Axios reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will ask Trump for weapons to strike Iran's nuclear facilities during their meeting.

At that time, information also surfaced that Trump decided to sign a directive for "maximum pressure" on Iran. According to Western media, the goal is to deprive Tehran of all pathways to developing nuclear weapons and to counter its "destructive influence" in the Middle East.
