The Georgian opposition has announced daily protests against the results of the parliamentary elections. The next demonstration will take place tomorrow, November 5.
This was stated by one of the leaders of the "Coalition for Change," Nika Melia, as reported by RBK-Ukraine referencing "Echo of the Caucasus".
According to Melia, the opposition aims to establish a powerful protest movement that "will allow us to overthrow the regime." Tomorrow's protest will be held near the Sports Palace in Tbilisi.
"We will be on the streets every day. There must be enough of us so that no one can enter here (the parliament - ed.), but standing only on Rustaveli is not enough; we need to stand on all the avenues," he emphasized.
The publication suggests that the opposition will block the main transport arteries of the Georgian capital. Additionally, today protesters may disrupt traffic on the Baratashvili Bridge in downtown Tbilisi.
Let us remind you that, according to the Central Election Commission of Georgia, the scandalous party "Georgian Dream" won the parliamentary elections by a large margin.
However, as noted by international observers, a number of violations were recorded during the elections.
In this context, the Georgian opposition has announced a boycott of the new parliament. Mass protests have also begun.
