В ЦНС сообщили о неудаче России в реализации мобилизации на захваченных украинских территориях.

Russian invaders in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Ukraine aimed to recruit 10,000 local residents for contract military service in 2024. However, the Kremlin was unable to realize these plans.

This information was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing the Center for National Resistance (CNR).

It is noted that to recruit residents of the areas temporarily controlled by Russian occupiers into the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the enemy, in violation of international law, employs both propaganda among its ideological supporters and intimidation tactics, accusing locals of various "offenses."

Additionally, the occupiers traditionally claim that those mobilized into the Russian army will supposedly not be sent to the frontline, but practice shows that this is not the case.

The CNR states that even these methods have not helped the Russians fulfill their plans for 2024 to enlist 10,000 "contract soldiers" from the occupied territories of Ukraine.

"The situation in the TOT of the south (Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions) has become especially catastrophic, where mobilization plans were disrupted by more than 50%," the Center reported.

The CNR also urged Ukrainians living in the territories controlled by Russian occupiers to ignore the enemy's initiatives and provide information about the occupation recruiters and the placement of Russian Armed Forces headquarters in the TOT via the link in the Telegram channel https://t.me/official_sprotyv_bot.

Mobilization in Occupied Territories

About a week ago, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOU) reported that the Russian occupying "authorities" conducted forced conscription for military service among residents of the TOT in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions from October 1 to December 31, 2024.

According to military intelligence, during this period, the enemy drafted approximately 300 local residents into the Russian army.

The GUR also reminded that international humanitarian law prohibits the mobilization of residents from occupied territories into the army of the aggressor state, as this constitutes a gross violation of human rights.

Furthermore, it was recently reported by the Center for National Resistance that collaborators are compiling lists of Ukrainians in occupation who will be drafted into the Russian army.
