According to the publication, the government led by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni adopted a special decree-law that contains "urgent provisions for extending the authorization for the transfer of military vehicles, materials, and equipment to the governmental authorities of Ukraine."

The publication highlights that the current authorization for supplying weapons to Ukraine from Italy is valid until the end of 2024.
