The General Staff reports that over the past 24 hours, there have been more than 150 battles on the front lines.

As of 22:00 on January 26, there have been 153 combat engagements on the front since the beginning of the day. Nearly half of these battles were recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy attempted to conduct intensive attacks.

Enemy Shelling

Today, the enemy launched 31 airstrikes, employing 41 guided aerial bombs (GAB), nearly seven hundred kamikaze drone strikes, and carried out almost 4,000 shellings of Ukrainian troop positions and settlements using various types of weaponry.

Situation on the Fronts

In the Kharkiv direction, there were four clashes with Russian invaders near Volchansk, with three attacks successfully repelled by Ukrainian soldiers, and one battle ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted to displace our units from their positions near Stepnaya Novoselovka, Kolesnikovka, Glushkovka, and Zagryzovo 11 times, all attacks were repelled. Enemy aviation struck Kupiansk, Kucherovka, and Petropavlivka with GABs.

The enemy attacked in the Lyman direction fifteen times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Grekivka, Novoegorivka, Nadiya, Zelenyi Hai, Makeivka, Yampolivka, and Torske, with one battle still ongoing.

Invaders targeted Ukrainian positions 21 times in the areas of the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, and Belyi Hor in the Kramatorsk direction, with one clash still ongoing.

The enemy made eight attempts to break through our defenses in the Toretsk direction. The occupiers acted in the area of Toretsk, and all attacks were repelled. Under enemy GAB strikes were Konstantynivka, Katerinivka, and Kleban-Byk.

The enemy is intensively attacking Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk direction. Here, throughout the day, the aggressor carried out 70 assault and offensive actions. The highest activity of Russian occupiers remains in the areas of Vodyane Vtore, Myrolyubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Luch, Zelenyi, Udaynyi, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Andriivka, Shevchenko, Dachne, and Yantarnyi. Six clashes are still ongoing.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, three clashes are ongoing. Today, the Russians attempted to advance 11 times in the areas of the settlements of Konstantinopol, Razliv, Razdolne, Novosilka, and Velyka Novosilka.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attempt by the enemy to advance towards Novoandriivka.

In the Dnipro direction, our soldiers repelled one attack from Russian invaders on the positions of the Ukrainian army. The enemy did not achieve success.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue operations in the Kursk region. Currently, there are reports of 21 airstrikes using 29 GABs and 395 artillery shellings, with Ukrainian defenders repelling seven attacking actions from the aggressor.

No significant changes in the situation have occurred in other directions.

It should be noted that over the last day, from January 25 to 26, the Russian army lost 1,720 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion (February 24, 2024), Russia's losses amount to 830,190 military personnel.
