"Elections" in Belarus

Let us remind you that on January 26, the so-called "elections" for president took place in the Republic of Belarus, where the 70-year-old dictator Alexander Lukashenko ran for office for the seventh time. Overall, he has been leading the country for more than 30 years.

Europe has already reacted to the election results. In particular, the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, called it "an affront to democracy" and "phony elections", while the German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated that Belarusians had no choice.
