The State Emergency Service revealed destruction in Izium: over 40 individuals have sought assistance.

As a result of Russian shelling in Izium, 170 apartments were damaged and windows were shattered.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synegubov, as conveyed by "Dumka".

"We are promptly boarding up windows and doors and conducting checks of apartments and houses. Relevant services have already begun to address the aftermath," the statement reads.

It is known that over 40 individuals sought medical assistance, 24 of whom were hospitalized, and three are in serious condition. Among the injured are two girls aged 6 and 16, whose condition is assessed as moderate.

The search and rescue operation has concluded. Currently, there are no more people trapped under the rubble.

As a reminder, today, February 4, Russian forces launched a ballistic strike on Izium in the Kharkiv region, resulting in the deaths of five individuals. Among them are two women and two men. A total of 24 people were injured, including a child.

According to the mayor, a missile struck an administrative building, with another administrative building nearby also damaged, as well as residential high-rises. Subsequently, it was reported that there were 34 injured.
