The number of attacks has decreased. The General Staff provided an update on the front-line situation (with maps).

In the last 24 hours of January, there were 134 battles at the front. Nearly half of these occurred in the Pokrovsk direction.

This is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Pokrovsk Direction

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine halted 61 assaults by the aggressor towards the settlements of Mashevka, Yelizavetovka, Novotoretske, Myrolyubivka, Luch, Lysovka, Pokrovsk, Novoukrainka, Udachne, Kotlyarivka, Novoandriivka, Alekseivka, Uspenivka, Andriivka, Dachne, and Ulakly.

Situation in Other Directions

Over the past day, there were two enemy attacks in the Kharkiv direction near the settlement of Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, there were six attacks by the occupiers throughout the day. Defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the directions of Lozova, Bohuslavka, Pyschane, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzovo.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 11 times, trying to advance near Zeleny Dolyna, Novomykhailivka, Novoehorivka, Makeivka, Yampolivka, and Kolodiaziv.

Yesterday, the enemy made six assault attempts to displace the Armed Forces of Ukraine from positions in the areas of Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, and Spyrne in the Seversk direction, but was unsuccessful.

In the Kramatorsk direction, there were five assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Bilya Hora, and Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched ten attacks in the vicinity of the settlement of Toretsk.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the defense forces repelled nine enemy assaults. The enemy concentrated its offensive efforts in the areas of the settlements of Konstantynopil and Razdolne.

With the support of assault and bomber aviation, the enemy attempted twice, without success, to push the Armed Forces of Ukraine from their occupied positions in the Huliaipole direction in the areas of the settlements of Novopil and Novoselka.

In the Orikhiv direction, near the settlement of Novodanylivka, the invaders made one unsuccessful assault on the positions of Ukrainian troops.

In the Dniprovsk direction, Russian invaders attacked the Armed Forces of Ukraine four times. Suffering losses, they retreated.

In the Kursk direction, over the past day, the Defense Forces repelled 12 enemy attacks, with the enemy conducting 347 artillery shellings, including eight from multiple rocket launch systems, and carried out 20 airstrikes, dropping 29 KAB.

No signs of enemy offensive group formations have been detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is using artillery from the territory of the Russian Federation against Ukrainian settlements.

Russian Losses in Ukraine

In the past day, Russian losses amounted to 1430 soldiers. Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized 9 tanks, 22 armored fighting vehicles, 48 artillery systems, 1 multiple rocket launcher, 121 operational-tactical level UAVs, 77 units of automotive equipment, and one piece of special equipment of the occupiers.

Moreover, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck two areas of enemy personnel concentration, one air defense system, four artillery systems, and three enemy command points.
