In the past day, there were nearly 160 battles on the front, with almost a third occurring in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff.

As of 22:00 on January 25, there have been 159 combat encounters on the front lines since the beginning of the day. The enemy is attacking most vigorously in the Pokrovsk direction.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian Shelling

Today, the enemy launched 32 airstrikes using 59 guided bombs, over 650 kamikaze drone strikes, and carried out more than 4,000 shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas using various types of weaponry.

Situation on the Fronts

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted nine times to displace our units from their positions near Petropavlivka, Pyschany, Hlushkivka, and Lozova.

The adversary attacked in the Lyman direction twenty-eight times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Tverdokhlebovo, Novosergiyivka, Shiykivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka, Druzhlyubivka, Hrekivka, Pershotravneve, Kopanky, Novolyubivka, Makeivka, Zelenaya Dolina, and Torske. Our defenders repelled 24 enemy attacks, with four combat encounters still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, our forces successfully repelled one enemy attack near Verkhnokamanka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 32 enemy attempts to advance near the settlements of Orekhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Predtechyne, and Belya Hora, with seven combat encounters currently ongoing.

The enemy attempted to breach our defenses in the Toretsk direction nine times in the vicinity of the settlement of Toretsk.

The enemy is intensively attacking Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk direction. Throughout the day, the aggressor carried out 48 assault and offensive actions here. The highest activity of the Russian occupiers is observed in the areas of the settlements of Vodyane Vtoroye, Yelizavetivka, Myrolubivka, Luch, Zelenoye, Udaychne, Novoaleksandrovka, Kotlyno, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, Shevchenko, Dachne, Ulakly, Konstantinopol'ske, and in the directions of Pokrovsk, Vozrozhdeniya, and Uspenivka. Ukrainian defenders have already repelled thirty-nine attacks in this direction, with another nine combat encounters still ongoing.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, our defenders repelled eight attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novosilka, Novodarivka, Konstantinopol, and Velyka Novosilka.

In the Orekhiv direction, the settlement of Mala Tokmachka came under fire from enemy guided bombs.

Twice, without success, the invading forces tried to displace the Defense Forces from their positions in the Dnipro direction.

Sixteen combat encounters occurred today in the Kursk direction, two of which are still ongoing. Throughout the day, the enemy conducted 420 artillery shellings, including eight from multiple rocket launchers, carried out 25 airstrikes, dropping 42 guided bombs.

In the Huliaipole and Kharkiv directions, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions since the beginning of the day.

We remind you that in the previous 24 hours, from January 24 to 25, the Russian army lost another 1,650 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 37 armored vehicles, 51 drones, and 79 units of the enemy's automotive equipment.
