According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, this represents a 7.5% increase compared to 2023, when the average pension was 5385.25 UAH. However, the rise in pensions has been largely offset by the inflation rate in the country, which stands at 12%, as reported by the National Bank of Ukraine.

The number of pensioners in Ukraine has reached 10.34 million, which is 497,500 fewer than in the past three years due to the ongoing war, reflecting a decline observed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
