The Russian military has reported losses exceeding 1,700 soldiers in just one day, according to the General Staff.

As of the morning of January 26, the Russian army has lost 1,720 soldiers in just one day. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the enemy's total military losses have reached 830,190 personnel.

This information is reported by RBK-Ukraine citing a report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Estimated total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 26.01.25 are as follows:

  • personnel - approximately 830,190 (+1,720) individuals;
  • tanks - 9,860 (+9) units;
  • armored fighting vehicles - 20,549 (+4) units;
  • artillery systems - 22,323 (+14) units;
  • MLRS - 1,263 units;
  • air defense systems - 1,050 units;
  • airplanes - 369 units;
  • helicopters - 331 units;
  • operational-tactical UAVs - 23,253 (+40) units;
  • cruise missiles - 3,053 units;
  • ships/boats - 28 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and fuel tankers - 35,124 (+53) units;
  • special equipment - 3,715 units.

Situation at the Front

It is worth noting that as of 22:00 on January 25, there were 159 combat engagements at the front over the course of the day. The Pokrovsk direction was the most intense, with the enemy launching 48 attacks there.

Additionally, the enemy carried out a total of 32 airstrikes using 59 guided aerial bombs and conducted over 650 drone strikes, while also shelling the positions of Ukrainian forces and settlements in Ukraine more than 4,000 times.
