Russia launched over 70 drones overnight: here's how the air defense system performed.

On the night of February 3, the Russian Federation (RF) launched an attack using 71 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Shahed type, along with drones of other types. Air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 38 of these drones.

On the night of February 3, the Russian Federation (RF) attacked with 71 Shahed-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drones of various types. The air defense managed to destroy 38 of them.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Air Forces.

The enemy launched the drones from the directions of the Russian cities of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the temporarily occupied Crimea.

As of 9 AM, the destruction of 38 drones has been confirmed in the following areas:

Kharkiv;
Poltava;
Kiev;
Sumy;
Chernihiv;
Cherkasy;
Zaporizhzhia;
Dnipropetrovsk;
Vinnytsia;
Khmelnytskyi regions.

Another 25 drones were lost without negative consequences.

As a result of the attack, the following areas were affected:

Sumy;
Kharkiv;
Cherkasy regions.

In particular, almost every night, terrorists launch drones. For instance, on the night of February 2, the Russians launched 55 drones. At that time, air defense was active in 10 regions.
