The Russian army launched drone and missile attacks on Ukraine in the morning. In particular, there was a strike on a residential building in Poltava.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing Poltava OVA.
"The enemy struck Poltava. There is a hit on a residential building," the message states.
Rescue teams and emergency services are currently working at the scene.
"Information is being clarified. Do not neglect your safety; stay in shelters until the all-clear!" the OVA added.
Additionally, there are damages to the energy infrastructure in the Mirhorod district of Poltava region.
"164 household and 1 legal consumers are left without electricity. Specialists are already working on restoring power supply," the administration noted.
The occupiers launched missiles at Ukraine during a massive combined attack on the morning of February 1. High-speed targets entered the country’s airspace after being launched from Russian strategic aviation.
In particular, the occupiers struck the city of Zaporizhzhia with over ten attacks. Kharkiv was also hit, where one person died and three others were injured. Explosions were also heard in Poltava. Energy workers implemented emergency power outages in several regions.
