U.S. President Donald Trump has suggested potential destinations for his first overseas trip during his second presidential term. According to him, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom are on the agenda.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine, citing CNN.
"It could be Saudi Arabia. It could be the United Kingdom. Traditionally, it has been the United Kingdom. But last time I went to Saudi Arabia because they agreed to purchase $450 billion worth of goods from the United States... If that offer were right, I would do it again," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.
He also announced that he plans to speak with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer "within the next 24 hours," after which he praised his colleague.
CNN reminded that Trump's first overseas stop as president in 2017 was Riyadh (the capital of Saudi Arabia) during a ten-day tour across five Middle Eastern and European countries.
Earlier, RBK-Ukraine reported that on January 23, U.S. President Donald Trump spoke at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where he stated that wants to meet with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin as soon as possible. He expressed hope that negotiations with the Kremlin leader would help end the war in Ukraine.
