At the meeting, it was announced that the "Warm Winter" program, designed to assist low-income families and internally displaced persons (IDPs), has been expanded to include new beneficiaries.

According to the revised program, families that did not receive the payment of 6500 UAH per child in December 2024 due to technical issues will now be eligible for assistance. This payment is intended to help families acquire essential winter items, such as clothing and footwear for their children.

The initiative has already supported nearly 600,000 Ukrainians, with each child receiving 6500 UAH in December. Recent government changes ensure that families previously excluded from the program will now have access to this financial aid to meet urgent winter needs.

This expansion aims to alleviate the challenges faced by vulnerable populations, especially children from displaced and low-income families, during the cold months.

The "Warm Winter" program highlights the government's commitment to supporting those most affected by ongoing hardships.
