In Kyiv, fragments of a Russian drone were reported to have fallen on the morning of January 29. This occurred near a metro station following an enemy airstrike on the capital.
This information was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klitschko.
According to the city mayor, this incident took place in the Darnytsia district.
He added that emergency services have been dispatched to the site of the fallen fragments of the hostile air target.
"The debris from the enemy UAV fell not far from the metro station in the Darnytsia district of the capital. All services are heading to the scene," Klitschko stated on his Telegram channel.
Later, he mentioned that the debris from the enemy UAV in the Darnytsia district caused damage to a fence and a standalone building at the entrance of the Darnytsia depot upon impact.
"All services are on site. Currently, there is no fire, and no casualties have been reported," the mayor of the capital said.
Recall that last night, Russian occupiers launched strike drones against Ukraine for another attack. Air raid alerts were declared in several regions, and reports indicated the operation of air defense systems in some areas amid the enemy drone attack.
By early morning, an explosion was heard in Kyiv, which was quite strong. Prior to that, an alert was issued in the capital due to the threat of drone attacks.
Additionally, at 05:55, the Kyiv City Military Administration announced the cancellation of the air raid alert in the capital.
