On February 1, Russia launched a missile strike on a five-story building in Poltava. The attack resulted in casualties and injuries.
This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing the State Emergency Service in Telegram.
Rescue teams reported that as of 9:10 AM, two people have been confirmed dead as a result of the attack, with seven others injured. A total of 21 individuals were rescued from the partially destroyed building.
According to the State Emergency Service, the entrance from the first to the fifth floor has been destroyed, and a fire has broken out. Nearby buildings and 12 vehicles have also sustained damage.
Rescue operations are ongoing at the scene.
