В Тверской области России ночью раздались громкие звуки — местные жители сообщили о нападении дронов.

On the night of January 27, explosions were heard in the Tver region of the Russian Federation (RF). Drones were allegedly attempting to attack a local oil depot.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing a Telegram channel called Shot.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing the distinctive sound of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), after which the air defense system was activated.

Governor Igor Rudeniya noted that there were no casualties or damages as a result of the attack.

Specifically, the Russians claim there was an alleged attempt to attack the local oil depot, but Ukrainian officials or military command have not commented on the situation so far.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense claims that 32 drones were allegedly shot down that night.

Strikes on Targets in Russia

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, explosions and fires on Russian territory have become increasingly common. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense, and the Defense Forces regularly target strategically important facilities in the terrorist state, including ammunition depots, oil refineries, and military bases, with the aim of weakening the combat capabilities of the Russian army. For instance, on January 24, it was reported that the "Kremniy El" microelectronics plant in Bryansk and the "Ryazan" oil pumping station were hit.
