The reason for the delays lies in organizational challenges: many citizens have not received their summons for the military medical commission (VLC) or are unable to do so due to long queues at territorial recruitment centers.

"It is clear that it is absolutely unrealistic to process such a large number of people through the VLC by the established deadline,” emphasized Vereshchuk.

In this regard, work is underway on legislative changes that will allow for an extension of the period for undergoing repeated medical examinations. The possibility of temporarily exempting penalties for those who do not manage to complete the commission is also being discussed.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Health are required to develop effective schedules for the VLC and streamline the process of summoning citizens in the near future.
