The USA, as reported by News.LIVE, promised financial support to Ukraine but has fallen short by 4 billion dollars in aid, primarily for military equipment and resources needed at the front lines. However, this assistance has been delayed and may not arrive, with some suggesting that its fate now hinges on the future US administration led by Donald Trump.

The absence of this support comes at a critical time as Ukraine continues to face larger Russian forces, both in terms of numbers and equipment.

Ukraine's challenge lies in securing the necessary resources to effectively combat the Russian offensive. The issue is the inability to rapidly and meaningfully reinforce Ukraine's personnel, as significantly increasing troop numbers over a short period is simply not feasible.

The USA and European countries, while providing significant aid, may not fully grasp the on-ground situation. They proposed lowering the mobilization age to 18, believing that a larger number of young Ukrainian soldiers would help turn the tide.

However, Ukrainian military leaders, including President Zelensky and Commander Andriy Biletsky, argue that this decision is misguided.

They contend that increasing the number of soldiers without adequate training or equipment will not resolve the issue. Many of these potential recruits are not sufficiently prepared to handle weaponry or combat situations they will face, especially with little experience beyond what they may see on social media.

The real necessity, as emphasized by Ukrainian leaders, lies in acquiring more advanced weaponry and resources — a greater number of drones, additional equipment, and enhanced military support.

The focus should be on providing the tools necessary to defend the country and effectively counter Russia's offensive, rather than simply increasing troop numbers without ensuring their training and resources to make a significant impact.
