In 2025, elderly Ukrainians whose pensions do not exceed 10,340 UAH will be entitled to age-related supplements. These supplements are awarded upon reaching the age of 70, and the amounts are recalculated every five years.
Specifically, retirees should receive:
300 UAH per month at the age of 70.
456 UAH monthly at the age of 75.
570 UAH per month at the age of 80 and older.
Additionally, retirees aged 80 and above may qualify for another form of monthly supplement. According to the Cabinet of Ministers decree № 261, they can receive an amount equal to 40% of the minimum living wage for persons who have lost their ability to work, which will be 944 UAH in 2025.
However, not every retiree in this age group can receive these additional payments. They must meet certain criteria, including:
Being 80 years old or older.
Living independently.
Needing constant care due to health conditions.
Receiving an old-age pension.
