The decision to adjust the rates was made at a recent meeting of the executive committee of the Rivne City Council.

After discussions and analysis of the current situation, the committee approved the establishment of an economically justified tariff, which will be 7% higher than the previous one, amounting to 3652 UAH per Gcal.

The council noted that this decision aims to ensure stable and quality heating supply for the residents of Rivne, taking into account the rising costs of energy resources and the need to maintain the heating networks.

However, the new tariff applies only to non-residential consumers. For the population during the heating season, the price from 2021 will remain in effect. This means that residents of Rivne and Kvasyliv will not see an increase in heating costs for now.

Officials also emphasized that while the moratorium is in effect, residential consumers are protected from price increases for heating, hot water, and gas.
