Explosions were heard in Kyiv during an air raid alert.

This was reported by RBK-Ukraine citing its own correspondent and KGVA.

The administration stated that air defense systems are operational in the region, on the outskirts of Kyiv.

The air raid alert in Kyiv and the surrounding area was declared due to an attack by strike drones.

Updated at 06:09. The KGVA reported that as a result of the drone attack in the Podil district of the city, debris was found. Preliminary information indicates a fire. Emergency services are en route to the scene.

Updated at 06:49. The KGVA clarified that a grass fire occurred in the Podil district over an area of 50 square meters. The fire has been extinguished.

Windows were also damaged in two two-story residential buildings and one administrative building.

Preliminary information suggests damage to a high-voltage power line.

No information regarding casualties has been reported.

As previously mentioned, an air raid alert was already declared in Kyiv and the region due to a UAV attack on the night of October 31.
