Zelensky explained the significance of Ukraine's Victory Plan.

Russia is disregarding genuine diplomacy and the Peace Formula proposed by Ukraine. If the Victory Plan is implemented, then the Russian Federation will not be able to continue the war.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as reported by RBK-Ukraine citing his press conference with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

"The key is to strengthen Ukraine's position and our relations with our closest partners in such a way that we create the necessary conditions and a fair atmosphere for honest diplomacy," the president said.

According to Zelensky, the world sees that the Russian Federation is ignoring real diplomacy and the Peace Formula put forth by Ukraine to end the war fairly based on the UN Charter. However, if Ukraine's Victory Plan is realized, the Russian Federation will not be able to continue fighting and will be compelled to seek peace, he stated.

"And if we implement the Victory Plan through cooperation with our partners, Russia will no longer be able to continue this war and will be forced to make peace. This is the essence of the Victory Plan. We want to protect Ukrainian independence, Ukrainian families, our people, and the right of our children to live freely in their own country," Zelensky concluded.

Recall that on October 10, the head of the Ukrainian state, Volodymyr Zelensky, presented the Victory Plan of Ukraine to his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron and announced a Peace Summit in November.

Additionally, in a documentary about the western direction for Ukraine, Zelensky mentioned that our country hopes to become an EU member in a shorter timeframe than anticipated.
