In the Kupiansk district, law enforcement officers rescued a 72-year-old woman who was injured during an evacuation.

This was reported by the communication department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the police, on February 25, officers arrived in the village of Petro-Ivanivka in the Dvorichanska community to carry out an evacuation. Local residents informed them about an injured elderly woman.

Police officer Ivan Rohachev stated that on February 24, around 8:00 PM, the Russian Federation attacked the settlement with a drone, which struck the home of the 72-year-old woman. As a result of the explosion, she sustained multiple shrapnel wounds. Therefore, the law enforcement officers promptly transported the victim to the village of Bolshoy Burluk, where she was handed over to medical personnel.
